Service Update - 30/07/2020

First of all we'd like to thank everyone who has been part of the Immunicity launch. We've had an amazing response, and have ironed out a lot of the initial teething problems people were experiencing.

We've added quite a lot of new sites to the service and are making optimisations behind the scenes to make it run as smoothly as possible.

One of Immunicity's aims is to allow access to pornography that will be blocked by default as part of David Cameron's plan on censorship. As part of this we will be slowly rolling out updates than span into this category of sites.

Starting from Wed Jul 31 00:00:00 2013 GMT we will be randomly selecting users for the "video streaming trial". This is a completely seamless and transparent process and will not have any effect whatsoever on any web browsing you do.

Our systems will select a small number of our users at random, and modify their PAC files so that streaming video for some of the world's most visited free porn sites gets routed via Immunicity's servers. This helps us understand how streaming video flows across our network in real time and lets us make optimisations ahead of the porn blocks being implemented. As per our existing policy, nothing is logged and will ever be logged.

The sites we are enrolling in this process are,,,, and so if you frequent those sites and are automatically enrolled in the pornography video streaming trial, they will be anonymously routed via our network, just like any existing traffic on the blocked sites list. You'll see the "This page is being unblocked by Immunicity" notification in the bottom right of these pages if you're enrolled. Because of how we cache content on our gateways, you may even notice these sites to perform faster than before!

By initiating a trial of only a subset of users, we can gradually build up our systems and get to understand how such data flows through our network.

If you'd rather not be part of this process, you're welcome to change your PAC file to and our systems will not enroll you. This is unfortunately counter productive for us as it means we are unable to get a large user base to randomly select from.

If you've got any questions, feel free to contact us.
